Dallas Police
On August 9, 2025, at approximately 2:10 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1900 block of Dudley Street.
The preliminary investigation determined that 53-year-old Lalit Pradhan had shot 2 victims that were known to him. When officers arrived, they discovered Pradhan suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and several lacerations. Dallas-Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported Pradhan to a local hospital where he died.
The 2 victims died at the scene.
