Dallas Police
55 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a Criminal Assault in Progress Call in the 5600 block of Lemmon Avenue.
The preliminary investigation determined that the suspect robbed an individual in the parking lot.
When officers arrived, they arrested the suspect. Dallas Fire Rescue responded to the scene. While enroute to the hospital, the suspect died. This ongoing investigation is being documented under case number 099570-2025.
The Dallas County District Attorney’s Office was notified and will conduct their own investigation. The Office of
Community Police Oversight was notified and responded.
