The following employees were terminated during disciplinary hearings on December 1, 2025, with Chief Comeaux:
Police Officer Trainee III Adrian Alcorta, #12408, Southeast Division, was terminated for engaging in adverse conduct when he was arrested for Assault Family Violence-Offensive Contact, Misdemeanor C and assaulting a family member. Police Officer Trainee III Alcorta had been with the Department since April 2023.
Police Officer Scott Simpson, #11830, Central Division, was terminated for engaging in adverse conduct when he was arrested for unauthorized release of body worn camera recording, Class A Misdemeanor and conducting subject searches through a confidential investigative platform for non-departmental purposes. Officer Simpson had been with the Department since November 2019.
