The following officers were terminated during disciplinary hearings on July 31, 2025, with Chief Comeaux:
Senior Corporal Joseph Robeson, #9868, Community Operations Division, was terminated for taking evidence from a crime scene without authorization, engaging in adverse conduct when he was arrested for Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair, a third degree felony, failing to fully investigate a shooting incident, violating the off-duty employment policy, and giving untruthful statements during an investigation. Senior Corporal Roberson had been with the Department since June 2009.
Police Officer Elijah Walker, #12538, Central Patrol Division, was terminated for engaging in adverse conduct when he was arrested for Driving while Intoxicated, a Class B Misdemeanor. Officer Walker had been with the Department since March 2023.
