On February 24, 2026, Dallas Police responded to a report of a business burglary in progress in the 3800 block of W. Illinois Avenue.
The preliminary investigation determined the suspect, 41-year-old Gabriel Ybarra, entered the business through the roof and stole approximately $12,000 worth of property. When officers arrived, they saw Ybarra on the roof of the business.
As officers approached the building, Ybarra fell through the roof.
Officers were able to gain entry into the business and arrest Ybarra.
He was taken to Dallas County Jail and charged with Burglary of a Building-Forced Entry, a State Jail Felony.
