Dallas Police Nab Parole Violator Downtown

On February 12, 2026, the Central Business Division (CBD) received information about a wanted individual with an extensive criminal history believed to be in the downtown area. CBD officers coordinated with Downtown Dallas, Inc. (DDI) and requested assistance in locating him.

DDI later advised that the individual had been seen near the intersection of Akard and Field Streets. The CBD Crime Response Team (CRT) responded to the area, quickly located the suspect, and safely took him into custody without incident.

Justin Bryan, 39 was arrested on a parole violation warrant issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Division. He was also charged with possession of amphetamines.

“Our officers are committed to actively locating and arresting individuals who are wanted and pose a threat to our community,” said Major John Madison.

The Central Business Division appreciates the continued partnership and support from Downtown Dallas, Inc. in helping maintain a safe downtown environment.
