Dallas Police
On June 18, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a Disturbance Emergency Ambulance call in the 4800 block of Second Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined officers were called regarding 40-year-old John Nelson, who was discovered unresponsive at the scene.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Nelson to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased sometime later.
