Dallas Police
On October 26, 2025, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Dallas Police responded to an assist officer call in the 2900 block of Canton Street. The preliminary investigation determined an unknown victim was stabbed by a suspect after a disturbance related to a crash near south Malcom X Boulevard and Canton Street. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital where he died. One person was taken into custody at the scene but later released.
