The following employees were terminated during disciplinary hearings on January 5, 2026, with Chief Comeaux:
Police Officer James Gordon, #10858, Support Division, was terminated for violating departmental policy by failing to complete a required random drug test and leaving his assigned duty station without proper authorization. Officer Gordon had been employed with the Department since August 2014.
Public Service Officer Casandra Jackson, #104084, South Central Division, was terminated for failure to report to work following an approved leave of absence. Public Service Officer Jackson had been with the Department since June 2005.
