Dallas Police

The Dallas Police Department’s Northeast Patrol Division and Street Racing Task Force conducted a joint operation on Monday, August 18, 2025, after receiving a complaint about a large group of motorcycles, dirt bikes and off-road vehicles doing stunts, blocking both directions of travel, and driving dangerously near Peavy Road and Buckner Boulevard.

Members of the community reported this dangerous activity frequently occurred on Monday evenings, and officers were in place to stop and identify those involved. Officers observed multiple traffic violations and followed the group to the 10700 block of Miller Road and the White Rock Lake area.

30 citations were issued for drivers not having a driver’s license, license plates, insurance, or registration, and for displaying expired registration. 12 e-bikes and dirt bikes were seized and towed, and one gun was seized during an arrest.

Alfred Jenkins, 29, was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving and Unlicensed Carrying of a Weapon; Jose Leyba, 26, was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving.

“We enforce Texas laws to keep our streets safe,” said Major Gabriel Candelaria, commander of the Northeast Patrol Division. “Our streets are not a stage for stunt driving and reckless behavior.”

This investigation is documented under case number 118825-2025.
