The Dallas Police Department’s Gang Unit arrested 19-year-old Marsavion McCollister, a documented gang member, after he robbed four people at gunpoint in the 6000 block of Abrams Road on January 21, 2026. Detectives believe McCollister arranged to meet the four victims at an apartment complex to take photos with McCollister, a local social media personality and known to be the founder of the “Channel4” and member of the “Best For Less” street gangs in Dallas. During the interaction, McCollister pulled out a gun and took the victims’ belongings. The Gang Unit responded and quickly began working to locate and arrest McCollister.
On February 19, 2026, detectives from the Gang Unit located McCollister in the 8500 block of E R L Thornton Freeway and requested the Dallas SWAT team to callout and arrest McCollister. Officers recovered two firearms, one of which had no serial number, .9 grams of cocaine, two cell phones and a digital scale inside the location where McCollister was found. He was arrested on four counts of Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree felony.
“The arrest of this gang member for this violent offense is a great example of the investigation and follow through by our Gang Unit,” said Chief Daniel Comeaux. “Our Gang Unit detectives and enforcement officers work together to investigate offenses with a criminal gang nexus. This kind of behavior is not tolerated in Dallas, and we will continue to proactively target criminal gangs to keep everybody safe.”
This investigation is documented under case number 010378-2026.
