Dallas Cops Nab Suspects, Seize Guns & Body Armor

Officers with the Dallas Police Department’s Northwest CRT and Deployment squads arrested five suspects and seized body armor and two guns following an investigation into a location in the 3300 block of Webb Chapel Extension.

The investigation involved several weeks of surveillance and evidence gathering and resulted in Dallas SWAT serving a search warrant on August 22, 2025. Northwest CRT and Deployment squads arrested five people:

Oscar Garza, 22, arrested and charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Penalty Group 1B, greater than or equal to 4 – 200 grams, a first-degree felony; Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Penalty Group 1, greater than or equal to 4 – 200 grams, a first-degree felony; Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, a state jail felony; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a third-degree felony; Unlawful Possession of Metal or Body Armor by a Felon, a third-degree felony.

Melissa Martinez, 32; Marissa Davis, 26; Alicia Kruse, 40; and Sara Vandeneyde, 39, were arrested on outside warrants for narcotics charges.

The items seized included: 6.6 grams of fentanyl; 4 grams of crack cocaine; .5 grams of methamphetamine; 26.7 grams of suspected fentanyl, pending laboratory confirmation; two handguns, including one reported stolen; a ballistic vest with armor plates.

“This successful investigation is one example of how we are disrupting criminal activity in Dallas. Criminals involved in drug sales should be on notice that Dallas is not the place for this activity,” said Major Paul Thai, commander of the Northwest Patrol Division.
