Dallas Police
On December 11, 2025, at approximately 5:37 am, officers responded to a shooting call in the 4700 block of Berridge Lane. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived that 36-year-old Daniel Tovar had been shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported Tovar to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later died. No arrest has been made. The investigation is ongoing and will be documented on case number 176863-2025.
